Rhinoplasty (nasal surgery) is most often done for cosmetic purposes to improve the look of a nose. Patients with difficulty breathing and a deviated septum will often combine this with cosmetic surgery. Frequently a rhinoplasty surgeon needs to harvest cartilage from the septum anyway.
