What is the HALO™ Hybrid Fractional Laser Treatment?

HALO™ is the world’s first hybrid fractional laser, meaning it applies both ablative and non-ablative wavelengths to the same treatment area to maximize results while reducing downtime. What are the Benefits of HALO™ Hybrid Fractional Laser Treatment?

There are many benefits to getting a HALO™ hybrid fractional laser treatment at Hamilton Facial Plastic Surgery, including improving the appearance of:

      • Fine lines
      • Wrinkles
      • Acne scarring
      • Sun damage
      • Freckles
      • Hyperpigmentation
      • Enlarged pores
      • Uneven skin texture

What Can I Expect During my HALO™ Hybrid Fractional Laser Treatment?

Before your treatment begins, a topical anesthetic will be applied to your treatment area to minimize any discomfort you may feel throughout your procedure. Once numb, the HALO™ handpiece will gently move across the skin emitting quick bursts of laser energy. The ablative and non-ablative wavelengths work together to perforate the skin tissue and trigger the body’s natural healing process, therefore boosting the body’s production of collagen to create a more youthful, healthy appearance. Your HALO™ treatment should only take about 45 minutes to complete.

What Can I Expect After my HALO™ Hybrid Fractional Laser Treatment?

Because this treatment is minimally-invasive, there is minimal downtime and recovery required. Most patients report going immediately back to their normal daily activities following their treatment. You may experience some mild redness and swelling, however, this typically fades on its own after one to two days. While you may start to notice some small changes in your skin over the next few days following your initial treatment, we recommend scheduling multiple treatments spaced one month apart for optimal results.

Am I a Good Candidate for HALO™ Hybrid Fractional Laser Treatment?

If you’re looking for an easy and minimally invasive solution to treat your signs of aging, and uneven skin tone and texture, HALO™ hybrid fractional laser treatments may be right for you. While this treatment is suitable for most skin types, it’s best to talk to Dr. Hamilton about your skin concerns during your one-on-one consultation.
