This case combined rhinoplasty with CO2 laser resurfacing in a male patient. The before photo shows significant nasal soft-tissue enlargement consistent with rhinophyma, a condition where sebaceous gland overgrowth causes the nose to take on a bulbous, irregular surface texture. Both rhinoplasty and CO2 laser were used together to address the structural and surface components of the nose. At 12 months post-procedure, the after photo shows a nose with a markedly smoother surface contour and a noticeably reduced overall bulk compared to before. You can see how the skin texture across the nasal tip and dorsum has settled considerably by this point in healing. Shown with the patient's written consent.
