Faris Anthony Mirza, M.D.
Originally from Johns Creek, Georgia, Dr. Mirza graduated cum laude from Boston College. He received his Doctor of Medicine degree from the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, where he graduated with Dean’s Clinical Honors in recognition of outstanding performance across all clinical rotations.
Dr. Mirza completed a highly competitive five-year residency in Otolaryngology–Head & Neck Surgery at the Medical College of Georgia. During his training, he performed more than 2,600 surgical procedures, including complex head and neck, craniofacial, facial plastic, and reconstructive surgeries. In his final year, he served as Chief Administrative Resident. Throughout residency, he received numerous distinctions, including the Resident Research Award and the Otolaryngology Training Examination Award on multiple occasions, recognizing excellence in both academic scholarship and clinical knowledge.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Mirza is an avid soccer fan and enjoys staying active through strength training and running. He also enjoys international travel and skiing and appreciates opportunities to experience new cultures.
