This 72-year-old male patient had rhinoplasty combined with CO2 laser resurfacing to address significant nasal tip enlargement and irregular skin texture consistent with rhinophyma. The before photo shows a markedly bulbous, nodular tip with thickened, uneven skin. Surgical reshaping of the nasal tip was performed alongside CO2 laser treatment to reduce the excess sebaceous tissue and resurface the skin. At 12 months post-procedure, the after photo shows a considerably reduced tip with smoother skin texture across the nose. CO2 laser is often the right tool when skin quality is part of what needs to be addressed, not just the underlying structure. Shown with the patient's written consent.
