This is a lip lift case performed on a woman in her seventies. The procedure shortens the distance between the base of the nose and the upper lip border, bringing more of the upper lip's vermilion into view. You can see in the after photo, taken at the twelve-month mark, that the upper lip sits higher relative to the nose than it did before surgery, with the red of the lip more visible at rest. The incision is placed at the base of the nose, where the scar line follows the natural contour of the nostrils. At one year out, the result has fully settled.
