These images were taken 12 months after a deep plane facelift with fat grafting. The deep plane technique releases and repositions tissue at a deeper structural level than a standard facelift, which allows the midface and jawline to move as a connected unit rather than having skin pulled in isolation. Fat grafting was added to restore volume to areas where it had been lost over time, using the patient's own fat as the filler material. The after photo shows a defined jawline and a cleaner neck contour compared to the before image. Individual results vary.
