This is an upper blepharoplasty case performed on a woman in her mid-fifties. The before photo shows excess upper eyelid skin resting close to the lash line on both sides, with the fold sitting low across the lid. Upper blepharoplasty removes that excess skin through an incision placed within the natural eyelid crease, so the resulting scar sits out of sight when the eye is open. In the after photo, you can see the upper lids are clear of overhanging skin, the crease is visible, and both eyes appear more open. The incision line is not visible at this angle, which is typical once healing is complete. Results vary from patient to patient.
