Four months after upper and lower blepharoplasty, you can see how the upper and lower eyelid areas read in the after photo: the upper lids sit cleaner, and the lower lid fullness visible in the before photo is considerably reduced. This patient, a 69-year-old woman, had both upper and lower blepharoplasty performed using a muscle flap technique. That approach addresses tissue at the muscular layer, not just the skin surface, which is why it's often chosen when lower lid fullness involves more than excess skin alone. The after photo is taken at the four-month mark, when post-operative swelling has largely resolved. Individual results vary. Shown with the patient's written consent.
