Where are the incisions for eyelid surgery?
In general, eyelid skin heals nicely with eyelid surgery.Incisions leave a fine line that is barely visible and easily camouflaged with make-up.
Incisions for the upper eyelid are placed along the natural upper eyelid crease. With time, this incisionis covered by the upper eyelid fold. Incisions for the lower eyelids are placed just below the lashes and extend into one of the crow’s feet. Most patients already have a natural crease in this area and eyelash growth easily camouflages this area even without make-up.
