This patient, a woman in her mid-seventies, underwent a deep plane facelift, lower blepharoplasty, and fat grafting performed together in a single operative session. The deep plane technique works at a deeper tissue level than a standard facelift, repositioning the underlying muscular layer rather than relying on skin tension alone. Lower blepharoplasty addressed the under-eye area, and fat grafting was used to restore volume to areas of the face where it had diminished over time. The after photo is taken at one month post-op, which means healing is still ongoing. Residual swelling at this stage is normal and expected.
