Dr. Hamilton specializes solely in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery. He maintains two offices in Indianapolis for plastic surgery procedures. As a recognized leader in his field, Dr. Hamilton has authored multiple publications and lectured widely to his colleagues on all aspects of facial plastic surgery.  He has been selected by his peers as one of Indianapolis Monthly Magazine's "Top Docs" and has been recognized by the Consumers Research Council of America as one of the "Top Physicians" in America for his work in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.  He is actively involved at the IU School of Medicine in resident teaching and is a clinical assistant professor there.

Dr. Hamilton graduated Phi Bet Kappa from Indiana University where he also received his MD degree.  He received a merit based scholarship while in medical school and was recognized nationally for his research.  He completed his residency in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at St. Louis University, and followed this by completing a Facial Plastic Surgery fellowship through Indiana University.  Dr. Hamilton is board certified by both the American Board of Otolaryngology and the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.

Dr. Hamilton has served in a variety of leadership positions in the American Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery, including Chairman of the Emerging Technologies committee and the Young Physicians Committee. In 2009 he was awarded the 1887 Award, nationally recognizing his commitment to the AAFPRS Foundation. He is also active in the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and has been selected to author questions for the board exams. He presently sits on the board of directors of the Indianapolis Medical Society and serves as its Treasurer.

Dr. Hamilton has donated his time and support to many charitable organizations including the Julian Center, Nathan's Battle, and Project Health.  He also continues to provide surgery for victims of domestic violence through the Face To Face program.

 Dr. Hamilton has performed multiple pro bono makeovers including the 2004 Fox 59 Circle City Swan Makeover, the 2005 Inside Edition Extreme Makeover, the 2006 Indianapolis Woman Dream Makeover, and the 2009 Indianapolis South Magazine Makeover.  In addition, he has been selected as the Plastic Surgeon for the 2011 Men's Makeover for Indianapolis Women Magazine.
